The slump temperature in step 1 should be the lowest temperature that fully forms the glass. Start around 1225 F and adjust up if the glass does not settle completely into the flower shape. *Step 2 is the anneal soak: about 900 F for COE90, about 950 F for COE96. AFAP means as fast as possible. Keep the kiln door closed as the kiln cools to room temperature in step 4.
