Alpine Meadow looks like new grass with flowers in it. Jade green opal chips sit beside soft mid blue opal, bright grass green transparents glint between them, and pale petal pink grains lighten the spread while deep Kelly green transparents read nearly black in the pile. The blue and pink chips land as scattered accents among the greens, the way wildflowers sit in a field.
The recipe is five named colors: Mineral Green Opal, Spring Green Transparent, Egyptian Blue Opal, Petal Pink Opal, and Kelly Green Transparent. Every grain is COE90 Bullseye glass, and COE90 is the only glass it should be fused with. Copper bearing colors are part of the mix, and copper can react where it meets sulfur or selenium bearing glass or silver.
The cut is coarse, 2.7 to 5.2 mm, sold in 4 oz and 8 oz bags. Scatter it as the meadow ground of a landscape panel, a speckled border on a plate, or a garden themed suncatcher.
