Wissmach Glass

The Paul Wissmach Glass Company is one of America's long-running sheet glass makers, and this category carries their non-fusible art glass line at AGS. These are 3mm sheets made for stained glass work: leaded and copper foil panels, cabinet and door inserts, mosaics, and restoration projects.

Choosing a texture

Deeply patterned surfaces like Florentine, Flemish, and English Muffle obscure the view and suit doors, windows, and cabinet fronts. Granite and Ripple add sparkle and movement to lamp and panel work. Corella Classic pairs color with a streaked, hand-rolled character, while smooth sheets cut easily and give clean color for mosaics and general panel work.

Compatibility note

Everything in this category is non-fusible: it is made for cold and leaded work, not for the kiln. Keep these sheets out of fusing projects, which should use tested-compatible COE90 or COE96 glass instead.
