Understanding the collage formats

Frit collage sheets show broken specks of color across the base, giving texture and broken color. Streamers are thin pulled lines that read as drawn brushwork across the sheet. Fractures are thin glass flakes that look like leaves or petals; Fracture-Streamer sheets combine both. Chopstix are slim square rods that lay grid or scatter patterns over the base. Mardi Gras mixes frit and streamers in saturated color combinations, and the rainbow iridescent options add a shifting metallic surface to clear bases.

Choosing a base and COE compatibility

Most collages here use a clear transparent base so the decoration reads cleanly against whatever you stack beneath; a smaller group uses a lacy white base when you want the design to sit against soft opal. Single-rolled sheets keep elements proud of the surface for more dimensional fired results, while double-rolled sheets present a smoother, more encased-looking surface. Everything is COE90 and compatible with other Bullseye fusing glass, including stringers, frit, and sheet from the standard line.

Firing and use

Collage sheets cut like any other sheet glass, though heavier surface elements (Chopstix, larger fractures) benefit from scoring on the smoother side. They full-fuse, tack-fuse, slump, and drape on standard Bullseye schedules. Use whole sheets as a backdrop or focal layer in plates, panels, and bowls; cut shapes for jewelry components and inlays; or layer pieces over solid color to build depth in landscape and abstract work. Pair with COE90 sheet glass for backers and caps, and with COE90 frits or COE90 stringers to extend the design language across the piece.
