COE90 Glass Holidays

COE90 Seasonal & Holiday Shapes is our year-round collection of ready-to-fuse precut motifs, formulated for use with other compatible COE90 glass. It runs from a spring bunny through Halloween and Thanksgiving to the deepest bench of Christmas shapes we carry. Most sell in a short window, so treat this page as a planning list and order ahead of the season rather than in it.

What this category holds through the year

Christmas is the largest group. Snowman I and Snowman II come in packs of three, mini versions in packs of five, with a separate Snowman Hat pack. Trees are offered as Tree Light Green, Tree Dark Green, a Tall Tree, and White Christmas Trees as a large single or a small pack of three. Holly comes as Light Green, Dark Green and Aventurine Green leaves plus a Holly Leaf Cluster. Add Santa Claus, Santa Hat, Sleigh, Mittens, Ice Skate, Narrow Ornament, Light Bulbs, Mini Candy Cane, Poinsettia Flower, a white Snowflake, Angels, Stockings in a small pack or a large two-piece pack, and Gingerbread Man large or small in a pack of five.

Halloween is nearly as deep: Pumpkin Round and Oblong, two Mini Ghost packs, a Bat pack, Flying Witch, Cauldron, Witch Hat, Witch's Boot, Wizard Hat, Candy Corn and Peepers for eyes. Thanksgiving gets a Turkey, and spring a Bunny Silhouette pack of two.

Choosing shapes and pack sizes

Singles suit focal pieces such as a platter centre or a nightlight; packs of three and five are sized for ornament runs and class kits where every piece must match. Colour choices, where offered, are on the listing (clear, white, amber, red, blue, green or yellow packs), and the two-piece Stocking gives a cuff and boot to layer in contrasting colours. The steady movers here have been Snowflake I, Light Bulbs, the Snowman Hat pack, Snowman II, Tree Light Green, Angels, Holly Leaf Aventurine Green and Pumpkin Round, so stock those first.

COE90 compatibility and firing

Every shape is COE90 and made to be fired with other compatible COE90 sheet, frit, stringer and dichroic. Keep a COE90 project entirely COE90; do not mix in COE96 pieces, and do not assume two glasses are compatible only because the number matches. Tack fuse when the shape should stand proud with crisp edges, which suits holly, snowflakes and the witch silhouettes. Full fuse for a smooth top on a coaster or pendant. Thin shapes on a single-layer base can pull in at full fuse, so add a second base layer or lower the process temperature, and test one piece from each pack first.

What people make with them

A snowman, tree or stocking on a clear circle with a drilled hole is a fast, repeatable ornament. Holly leaves and the cluster dress the rims of plates and coasters for December tables. Pumpkins, ghosts and the Flying Witch become nightlights and suncatchers for October, with Candy Corn as a border element on a small tray. The Turkey and Bunny Silhouette fill the months the Christmas shapes do not.
