Project ideas

Sea life shapes work well on beach themed plates and platters, suncatchers, night lights, and gift pieces. Layer them over blue and green glass for a quick underwater scene. Tack fuse to keep each creature's outline raised and distinct, or full fuse for a flat, smooth surface.

Working with precut shapes

Clean each shape before firing and place it glossy side up on your base glass. Eyes, fins, shell lines, and other details can be added with frit, stringer, or glass paint before the final firing. Because the cutting is already done, these shapes are also a friendly option for newer fusers and for classes where time is short.

Compatibility

Every shape in this category is COE96 and fires with other COE96 compatible glass. Keep COE systems separate; COE96 and COE90 do not mix in the same piece.
