Tools

This is the home of glass working tools at Art Glass Supplies, covering the hand tools and consumables used across stained glass, copper foil, and kiln fusing work. Browse the Tools sub-category to shop the full range in one place.

Cutting and breaking

Scoring starts with Toyo Supercutters, including the pistol grip Tap Wheel model, alongside Fletcher-Terry steel wheel cutters and the ScoreMaster 2, backed by replacement cutting heads. For clean breaks there are GlassPro running pliers, breakers, and breaker grozers, with replacement tips available so a good pair stays in service.

Copper foil and soldering

The foil bench covers Edco copper foil, hand foilers, fids and burnishers for setting foil, plus solder, flux, flux brushes, and soldering mats. GlassPro 50/50 solder spools and flux keep panel work moving, and patina and flux removers handle cleanup.

Grinding and finishing

Grinders and Aanraku grinding bits in regular and fine grits true up cut edges before foiling or firing. Kiln-side items like haik brushes for kiln wash application round out the fusing bench.

Choosing glass tools

A starter bench needs a quality cutter, running pliers, and a grozer. Foil work adds copper foil, a fid, solder, and flux. Fusers working from sheet glass use the same cutting and breaking tools, then add grinder bits and kiln wash supplies for prep.

Tools are one part of the complete art glass supply range at Art Glass Supplies, which also covers COE90 and COE96 sheet glass, frit, dichroic glass, molds, and kilns, so stained glass and fusing studios can source everything in one place.
