This category at Art Glass Supplies features glass stringers and noodles for fused glass detail work. Oceanside Glass and Tile leads with COE96 stringers in opalescent, transparent, and semi-opalescent colors, alongside G.A.G. Stringfetti assortment packs that bundle pre-cut mixed-color pieces for quick layouts. Bullseye Glass Company COE90 stringers are also included for those working with COE90 projects.
Stringers are long, slender glass rods sized for fine detail. Noodles are flat, ribbon-like strands that lay slightly wider and read as bolder lines once fused. Both forms melt into the surface of a base sheet or capture under clear, letting you draw with glass instead of cutting every accent from sheet stock.
The Oceanside range covers the working palette most fusers reach for. Opalescents include Black, Cherry Red, Almond, Alpine Blue, Fern Green, Forest Green, Marigold, Lilac, Cloud, and Flame, while transparents cover Clear, Citron, Deep Aqua, Dark Amber, Grape, Lime, Light Olive, and Light Purple. Noodles are stocked in select transparents for wider line work.
G.A.G. Stringfetti packs are pre-chopped stringer confetti in curated color themes, including Berry, Earth and Sky, Holiday, Rainbow, and Volcanic. Scatter them across a clear or tinted base for instant texture and color variation without cutting individual bits.
This category includes both COE96 stringers and noodles (Oceanside) and COE90 stringers (Bullseye). Always confirm the COE on the individual product before combining glass in one firing. Keep firings to a single COE family, and pair stringers and noodles with a matching COE96 sheet base or compatible frit for predictable results. Do not combine COE96 and COE90 glass in the same piece.
Score and snap stringers to length, or break them by hand for organic ends. Place them on top of a base for raised line detail in a tack fire, or cap with clear for a smooth full-fuse finish. Stringfetti scatters work best on a tack or contour fuse where you want the bits to hold their shape and color edges.
