Art Glass Supplies carries electric kilns for glass fusing, slumping, and ceramics from three established American kiln builders: Skutt, Olympic, and Hot Shot. Whether you are firing your first pendant or outfitting a production studio, this section collects every kiln line we sell in one place.

What's in this section at AGS

  • Skutt Kilns: FireBox starter kilns, GM Studio and Production Series glass kilns, and KilnMaster ceramic kilns for potters.
  • Olympic Kilns: a deep range of glass kilns, from the compact HotBox and Traveler to large square, top hat, and bell models, including vitrigraph setups for pulling stringer.
  • Hot Shot Kilns: compact glass kilns from the Starter and 7G models up to the Creativity Pro, with vitrigraph and wax burnout versions available.
  • Microwave Kiln: the Petite Microwave Kiln for fusing small pieces at home without a full size kiln.

Choosing a glass kiln

Start with the size of the work you want to fire. Small tabletop kilns handle jewelry, cabochons, and test tiles, while wider models fire plates, bowls, and larger slumped forms. If you plan to fire pottery as well as glass, look at the Skutt KilnMaster ceramic line alongside the glass kilns. Many models include or offer digital controllers that program the ramp and hold schedules glass firing depends on.

Buying a kiln from AGS

Every kiln we sell is new from the manufacturer. If you are comparing models or matching a kiln to your studio's electrical service, contact us and we will help you narrow it down before you buy.
