COE96 dots are small round glass pieces in a uniform shape, ready to drop straight into a fused design as accents, eyes, polka dots, or focal points. Every dot in this category is tested compatible with System 96 sheet glass, frit, stringers, and noodles, so they are intended for use with tested-compatible COE96 glass in the same firing. The selection here is built around G. A. G. dots in a broad color range plus pre-packaged assortments.
The solid range covers opalescents like black, white, cobalt, red, marigold, lilac, pewter, almond, riviera blue, pastel green, turquoise, and turquoise green; transparents including clear, dark amber, dark green, and deep aqua; and semi-opalescent options such as cherry red and light orange. That spread gives you warm tones, jewel tones, and neutrals so you can match a sheet, pull a contrast, or build a gradient.
Themed assortments make it easy to add variety without buying every color individually. Mixes include Berry, Sorbet, Rainbow, Spring, Holiday, Lagoon, Minty, Quarry, Earth and Sky, Fire and Water, Volcanic, and Winter Freeze, each grouped around a coherent palette you can scatter across a piece for instant variation.
These dots are part of the COE96 system, meaning they expand and contract at the same rate as System 96 sheet, frit, and stringers. Do not mix them with COE90 (Bullseye) or window glass in the same firing, since incompatible expansion can stress the piece and cause cracking during cooling or annealing.
Dots fuse smoothly onto a base of tested-compatible clear or colored COE96 sheet for jewelry cabochons, pendants, suncatchers, plates, dishes, and pattern bars. Tack-fuse them for a raised polka-dot texture, or full-fuse flat so they sink level into the base. Stacking two dots, or layering a transparent over an opalescent of a different color, shifts the final tone in the kiln and adds depth without extra cutting.
