Keep the base sheet, frit, stringer, and any paint or accent work on the COE90 system and do not combine them with COE96 glass in the same piece. Tack fuse to keep a pepper or a pumpkin raised and dimensional; full fuse for a smooth surface that wipes clean, which matters on anything that will live near food. Place each precut glossy side up, clean it before firing, and add seeds, stems, and highlights with frit or stringer before the final fire.
