Choosing Youghiogheny glass

Dense opalescents diffuse light evenly, which makes them a natural fit for lampshades and lighting projects. Sheets with strong color movement and mottling reward larger cuts in windows and panels, where the variation across the sheet becomes part of the design. Because each sheet is hand mixed, expect natural variation from piece to piece.

Important compatibility note

These sheets are non fusible art glass intended for copper foil and lead came work, mosaics, and other cold or traditional stained glass techniques. They are not tested for fusing and should not be combined with COE90 or COE96 fusible glass in the kiln.
