COE96 Glass Animal Shapes

These COE96 precut glass animal shapes are cut from fusible sheet glass and arrive ready to fire, so you can add detailed animal designs to your work without cutting them yourself. Every shape is COE96 and compatible with System 96 glass.

Birds are the strongest theme, including a multi-color hummingbird, a cardinal, a turkey, a penguin, mini birds, and clean bird silhouettes. Beyond the birds you will find cats, a golden retriever, a koi fish, a crab, a frog, a lizard, a unicorn, a bucking bronco horse, bats, coyotes, and a paw print. Several designs come in multi packs, such as mini birds in packs of 3 and coyotes in a pack of 5.

Choosing precut animal shapes

Detailed designs like the hummingbird combine several Oceanside glass colors in a single shape and can carry a piece on their own. Single-color silhouettes, such as the bird silhouettes, bats, and coyotes, are made for layering over contrasting backgrounds where the outline does the work. Most shapes are cut from 3mm sheet glass.

Firing and usage notes

Tack fuse an animal shape onto a suncatcher, ornament, plate, or panel to keep its detail sharp, or full fuse for a smooth finish. Keep these COE96 shapes in COE96 projects only. System 96 glass is tested to fire together, so they pair readily with System 96 sheet glass, frit, and stringers.
