COE90 frit blends are ready-to-fuse combinations of granular COE90 glass in coordinated color palettes, sold in coarse grain so the individual color particles still read clearly after firing. This category at AGS focuses on themed G.A.G. blends with evocative names like Alpine Meadow, Autumn Sunset, Coral Reef, Forest Floor, and Star Gaze, giving fusers a finished color story in one ready-to-use blend.

What a frit blend is

A frit blend combines several COE90 glass colors in one container so you can scatter, sift, or pour a coordinated mix without measuring separate colors by hand. Coarse grain particles stay visible as distinct flecks once fused, which is what gives palettes like Fossil Hunt or Rainbow City their speckled, terrazzo, or granite look on the finished piece.

What is in this category at AGS

The blends here are G.A.G. coarse grain COE90 mixes built around recognizable themes: landscape palettes (Alpine Meadow, Forest Floor, Seashore), florals (Rose Garden), seasonal moods (Autumn Sunset, Holiday Celebration), gemstone-inspired and jewel-tone ranges (Deep Gemstone, Peacock Lane), and bright abstract groupings (Pop Art, Carnival Season, Rainbow City, Day Dream). Each is intended to drop straight into a project as a finished palette.

COE compatibility and firing notes

These blends are formulated for COE90 systems and fire with other COE90 sheet glass, stringers, powders, and single-color COE90 frit from common COE90 lines. Coarse grain melts more slowly than fine frit or powder, so on top of a base layer it tends to keep texture under a tack or contour fuse; take the schedule up to a full fuse if you want a flat, glossy surface.

Common uses

Fusers reach for these blends for jewelry cabochons and pendants, dish and bowl drop-outs, pattern bars, mosaic insets, murrine-style accents, and accent borders on larger panels. They are also a quick way to add a multi-color zone to a design without hand-mixing your own palette from individual jars.
