The COE96 Winter Freeze assortment mixes cobalt and sky blue with white, turquoise, pewter gray and a dusty plum-gray. It is a cooler, grayer mix than a straight blue-and-white, with the pewter and plum dots reading like shadows in snow.
Sliced from 6 mm cane at about 2 to 3 mm thick, these COE96 dots belong with COE96 glass only. The mix changes bag to bag; no color is promised in a set amount. Use the whites and blues for snow and sky, and let the pewter and plum-gray shade the underside of a snowman or the shadow of a drift. All of it is opaque, so a snow scene laid on a dark blue base keeps every dot crisp.
What is in the COE96 Winter Freeze bag? Cobalt, sky blue, turquoise, white, pewter gray and plum-gray, all opaque, in proportions that change by bag. It suits snow scenes, ice, winter skies and cool borders. The grays are useful for shading snowmen and drifts; the blues stay bright on any base.
