Dark green sits almost black in this Holiday pile, which throws the reds and the white forward before you have picked anything out of it.
Both the green and the red come two ways. There is a transparent dark green that opens up to bottle green when a piece lies alone, and a dark green opal that stays shut; a cherry red transparent that glows, and a red opal that reads flat and even. White is the only pale color and it does the separating.
Sold by the bag at about half an ounce, these are confetti sized pieces of glass stringer, so they mark as short strokes instead of grains. Laid in rows they read as pine needles, thrown loose they read as tinsel. Everything here is COE96 and should stay with COE96 glass.
It is a deeper, more traditional holiday range than a bright red and green scheme, and it suits wreaths, ornaments and table pieces. The green is dark enough to stand in for pine on its own, so a piece can be built from the greens alone and still read as seasonal.
