Spring green and canary yellow give this Rainbow mix its glare, with orange, red opal and cobalt blue packed in around them and a greyed dusty lilac running quietly underneath.
Cobalt is the deep note and reads almost navy where pieces stack; the yellows and greens sit at the opposite end and stay acid bright even in a loose scatter. Density changes the whole effect, since a thin sprinkle reads as speckle while a heavy one closes into a woven field of color. Confetti sized stringer bits fill each bag, about half an ounce of them, thin enough to lay down as lines rather than dots.
Why is there a lilac in a rainbow mix?
The glass is Bullseye COE90, to be used only alongside COE90 glass. It suits confetti scatters on clear and bright panel work.
