Marigold yellow, orange and a clean red run through this Volcanic mix, with white cutting between them. The range reads closer to flame than to ember.
The marigold and the orange opal shade into one another, so the red is what gives the pile its edges, and the white is the only break in the heat. Against a dark base the white reads as the highlight; against a pale one it drops away and leaves the yellows and reds to do the work.
About half an ounce of confetti sized stringer bits fills the bag. Because stringer is drawn thin, a stringer bit reads as a fine stroke, and scattered pieces read as a flicker rather than a wash of color. COE96 is the rating here, so combine it only with glass of the same COE.
The palette suits flame and sunset imagery, autumn work and warm toned jewelry. Where the pieces cross one another the reds and yellows overlap into a deeper orange, giving a dense scatter some variation without adding another color.
