Blue Topaz Frit Balls COE96

A bright, clear medium blue, transparent and glossy, the small balls sparkling a light aqua blue and the larger ones a deeper sapphire; a few show a slightly frosted cap. Light goes straight through, so the pile reads as blue glass marbles.

Frit balls are small round beads of fused glass, about 3 to 6 mm, that fire in without any circle cutting. COE96 throughout; keep them with Oceanside and other tested System 96 compatible glass. Half ounce bags hold roughly 100 to 130. This is the water drop, bubble and raindrop color for COE96 work.

Do transparent balls behave differently from opaque ones?
Only in how they look: the fired color depends on what is under them, so put these over white, clear or pale bases to keep the blue, and expect dark spots over black. At a tack fuse each dome acts as a small lens over the base glass; a full fuse flattens them into translucent blue circles.
