Bullseye Leaf Green (style 001217) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, a transparent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming. It carries a fired-on iridescent surface that shifts color with the light and does not burn off at fusing temperatures.
Cold characteristics Bullseye writes these notes for the standard 3mm sheet of this color; this page is the 2mm thin rolled version of the same glass.
Uniform color
Working notes Compared to other copper-bearing styles of similar saturation, this glass has greater reactivity potential. Fusible / Bullseye-compatible. Note: The color of frit in this style will change when fired. In larger grain sizes, the result will resemble the hue of the sheet glass; smaller grain sizes will take on a blue-green hue. This difference is most noticeable in powder (-0008). This unique characteristic has been observed through a range of heatwork, from tack fuse to full fuse firings.
Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Copper (Cu) and may react where it meets Selenium (Se) / Sulfur (S), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Format and sizes Thin-rolled sheet, 2mm, with a rainbow iridescent surface on one side and a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
