This is a suggested starting schedule based on Bullseye's published slumping guidance, not a guarantee. Every kiln fires differently. Follow Bullseye's published Suggested Slumping Schedule for your glass and mold depth, visually confirm the slump, and test a small piece first.
Ramp at about 300 F per hour to the slump process temperature.
The slump temperature should be the lowest temperature that fully forms the glass; Bullseye's published starting point for this mold is 1210 F. Very shallow forms may slump at lower temperatures with a faster ramp; deeper forms may need a higher temperature and a longer hold.
Hold at the slump temperature for about 20 minutes to let the glass settle fully into the form.
Cool as fast as possible (AFAP) to the anneal soak temperature: about 900 F for COE90 glass.
Hold the anneal soak for about 1 hour.
Cool at about 100 F per hour to 700 F, then cool as fast as possible to room temperature with the kiln door closed.
