Bullseye Orange (style 001125) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, a transparent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming. It carries a fired-on iridescent surface that shifts color with the light and does not burn off at fusing temperatures. As a striking color, Orange may not reach its final shade until it is fired.
Cold characteristics Some variation from more yellow-orange to red-orange.
Working notes A cadmium/selenium glass. Generally fires deeper (more red) than cold sheet. This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters. Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Sulfur (S) / Selenium (Se) and may react where it meets Copper (Cu), Lead (Pb), and Silver (Ag), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Format and sizes Double-rolled sheet, 3mm, with a rainbow iridescent surface on one side and a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
