Bullseye Pink Blush (style 000431) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, an opalescent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming. As a striking color, Pink Blush may not reach its final shade until it is fired.
Cold characteristics Surface color variations common with color ranging from cool white to pink with variegated streaks. Underside of sheet can show patches of light and dark patterning from the forming process.
Working notes Matures to pastel pink upon firing, often with mottles and streaks remaining. Additionally, this style often fires with a range of pale pink, darker pink and blue-ish pink hues and is not uniform in color. Interface reaction possible with sulfur glasses, particularly 000137 French Vanilla Opal. Three production dates of lead bearing 000431-0030 horizontally as a base with sulfur bearing 000137 French Vanilla Frit in 03, 02, 01, 08 as vertical stripes on top surface showing the reactive potential. Sample was fired to a full fuse.
Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Lead (Pb) and may react where it meets Selenium (Se) / Sulfur (S), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Format and sizes Double-rolled sheet, 3mm standard thickness, with a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
