Bullseye Purple Blush (style 000434) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, an opalescent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming. As a striking color, Purple Blush may not reach its final shade until it is fired.
Cold characteristics Appears a medium blue hue with variegated streaks of lighter and darker blue. Underside of sheet can show patches of light and dark patterning from the forming process.
Working notes Matures to pastel purple upon firing, often with mottles and streaks remaining. Additionally, this style often fires with blue and pink hues and is not uniform in color. Interface reaction possible with sulfur glasses, particularly 000137 French Vanilla Opal.
Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Lead (Pb) and may react where it meets Selenium (Se) / Sulfur (S), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Format and sizes Double-rolled sheet, 3mm standard thickness, with a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
