Bullseye Light Aventurine Green Ribbon (style 001412) is 90 COE fusible ribbon, flat ribbons of glass for bold linear accents and woven or layered surface designs.
Cold characteristics Bullseye writes these notes for the sheet form of this color; the same glass is used to make this product.
This style is categorized as a Transparent glass, though very little light is transmitted through the 3mm sheet. Consistent color.
Working notes Opalizes slightly upon firing. Fusible / Bullseye-compatible. Tiny metallic sparkles, also referred to as spangles, concentrate at the outer surfaces of the sheet glass in the factory-production forming process, including around the rolled edge. The core of the sheet is not metallic.
Reactions Bullseye lists this color as lead bearing on its reactive potential chart. It can react where it meets sulfur and selenium bearing glass or silver. Use that on purpose, or keep reactive colors apart.
Using the ribbon Ribbon is a flat, wide strip of glass, heavier than a stringer, for bolder lines and woven or basket-style layouts. It fuses smoothly into the surface and holds a clean edge.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
