Each slice carries a small bee at its center: a bright yellow-green body marked with bold black striping and outline, set inside a clear glass disc ringed in dark gray. The strong contrast keeps the bee legible even at the smaller sizes in the pack, whether you scatter them across a wide piece or place one on jewelry-scale work. A few pieces come from square-cut cane, so expect the occasional square outline among the rounds.
Murrini, also called millefiore, are small cross-section slices of patterned glass cane. Set individual slices face up on the surface of a prepared COE90 piece and fire them in as decorative accents on pendants, rings, suncatchers, plates, dishes, and ornaments.
What COE glass do I use with these murrini?
These are COE90 murrini. Combine them only with glass of the same COE. Mixing glass of different expansion rates puts stress into the finished piece and can cause cracking.

How do I add these to a fused glass project?
Place individual slices on your prepared COE90 base glass and fire them in. A full fuse melts the slices flat and flush with the surrounding glass; a tack fuse leaves more of their raised profile so the bee keeps a little dimension.
