The Voltage pattern cracks the coating into sharp jagged lines, branching forks and zigzags that snap across the glass like an electric arc. The marks are angular and abrupt, giving the surface a charged, restless energy.
Over the thin black base the aqua coating reads bright and saturated, the blue green bolts standing hard against the dark field. Because it is dichroic, the aqua does not hold one color, cooling and greening as the light and your angle move, so the jagged lines seem to spark and flicker as you tilt the piece.
