Stell Original is a freeform pattern, an irregular spread of marks and breaks across the sheet rather than a strict repeat, giving each section its own rhythm. The Cyan/Copper Fusion coating runs through that loose layout, blending cool cyan and warm copper where the pattern opens and closes. The glass is available on clear and black base, and the base shapes how the two fused tones come across. This pattern is by artist Chris Stell.
One side carries the dichroic coating, which changes with light and viewing angle. Cyan dominates head on and warms toward copper as you tilt, so the freeform marks seem to drift between blue and bronze. On clear base the fusion glows with passing light; on black base the cyan and copper sit denser and more concentrated.
Every kiln fires a little differently, so test a small piece before scaling up.
