The Stell Sundials pattern fans radiating lines from center hubs across the sheet, spokes and arcs repeating with a wheeling motion. A Rainbow 2 coating lays the full spectrum over that fan layout, so color bands sweep along the sundial spokes. The glass is offered on clear and black base, and the base sets whether the spectrum glows open or sits saturated. This pattern is by artist Chris Stell.
One side carries the dichroic coating, and the rainbow rotates through its colors as you tilt the glass. Each spoke catches a different hue, red and green and violet wheeling around the sundial as the angle moves. On clear base the radiating shapes spread the spectrum with light; on black base the rainbow tones deepen and sharpen against the dark.
