A straightforward red and white peppermint spiral in opaque glass: the red stripes are wide and warm, the white stripes narrower, and both wrap the rod at an even pitch. Nothing in this cane is transparent, so a section laid on any base reads as solid red and white from above. Stood on end, each cut face shows a small red and white pinwheel.
A red and white candy stripe reads as a border almost anywhere you put it, and because the glass is opaque the base underneath does not shift the colour. The rod is COE96. Combine it with COE96 glass only. Lay full sections along the edge of ornaments and small dishes, or nip them into short pieces and scatter them as peppermint dots. The cut end gives a tiny pinwheel wherever a section stands upright.
