This decal sheet carries 24 side-profile illustrations of vintage American vehicles, a mix of roadsters, coupes, sedans, and pickup trucks, arranged in tidy rows. These are detailed line drawings rather than flat silhouettes, with fine interior detail picking out windows, wheels, grilles, and body trim on shapes that echo the flowing fenders of the 1930s through the 1950s. The designs are printed in a range of metallic tones, from bright silver and champagne gold to warmer bronze and near-black, so a single sheet gives you several distinct looks. Each vehicle is a compact accent, at home on pendants, ornaments, coaster tiles, or serving platters.
These are water-slide decals that bond to the surface of pre-fired glass during a kiln firing. Because they are applied on top of an already-fired base rather than co-fired as a compatible glass layer, they work with glass of any COE. Once fired, each image sits cleanly on the glass with a crisp metallic finish.
How do I apply a water-slide decal from this sheet? Cut the decal away from the sheet and soak it in clean, room-temperature water for 30 to 60 seconds until it slides freely from its backing paper. Slide it into position on clean, dry, pre-fired glass, then smooth water and air outward from the center with a soft squeegee or fingertip. Let the piece dry completely before firing.
Do these decals work with the COE glass I already have? Yes. Because the decal fires onto the surface of pre-fired glass rather than fusing as a compatible glass layer, no COE matching is needed. Clean, fully pre-fired glass of any COE accepts these decals.
How many decals come on the sheet? The sheet includes 24 vehicle decals across a mix of cars and pickup trucks, enough to complete several small accent pieces or to repeat the automotive theme across a coordinated series.
Do the metallic finishes affect how I should fire these? Yes. The designs carry metallic finishes. See the suggested schedule in the Working Notes below, and always test on a small sample piece first.

SKU: 153556 Sheet size: 4 x 5.25 inches Sold as a single printed decal sheet Decals per sheet: 24 vintage cars and pickups Finish: metallic tones (silver, gold, bronze, dark) Suggested firing range: 1240 to 1370 degrees F Works with any COE glass Working Notes
Apply decals only to clean, dry, pre-fired glass. Residue, fingerprint oils, or kiln wash can prevent proper adhesion. Allow the piece to dry thoroughly after application before firing, as trapped moisture will cause bubbling or lifting.
Suggested Firing Schedule (a starting point only, not a guarantee of results): Fire to roughly 1240 to 1370 degrees F, held about 10 minutes, keeping toward the lower end to preserve the density of the print. Every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first and anneal for the thickness of your glass. Ventilate the kiln well up to 1000 degrees and fire slowly below 500 degrees. 50 degrees per hour to 185 degrees, hold 20 min. 150 degrees per hour to 300 degrees, hold 15 min. 250 degrees per hour to 500 degrees, hold 15 min. 600 degrees per hour to 1000 degrees, hold 10 min. Then to 1240 to 1370 degrees, hold about 10 min. Anneal for the thickness of your glass.
