Cobalt Blue Opalescent Dots COE90

Cobalt Blue Opalescent dots in COE90 are a bright, clean medium blue, the blue of a summer lake in full sun. The slices are opaque and evenly colored, with a soft satin surface on the faces.

Slices of 6 mm Bullseye cane, about 2 to 3 mm thick, rated COE90 and made to fuse only with COE90 glass. This is the everyday blue: dot a white plate for a classic polka pattern, pair it with white for a nautical border, or use single dots as blueberries on a cream base and blue eyes on an animal.

How does this cobalt read on a base?
Opaque, so it holds as a solid blue on any base and does not darken over black. It is the workhorse blue for polka fields, water drops on opaque pieces, blue eyes, blueberries and flower centers. Over white it looks crisp and graphic; over black it looks slightly richer.
