Dark Forest Green Frit Balls COE90

Deep pine green, opaque and even, with a softer surface sheen than a glossy opal usually carries. Nothing varies from ball to ball, a solid forest green throughout.

Fused from glass frit into rounded beads of about 3 to 6 mm, these fire onto a base as finished dots. The glass is Bullseye 000141 Dark Forest Green Opalescent in COE90, compatible with tested COE90 glass alone. Roughly 100 to 130 balls fill the half ounce bag. This is the green for foliage, pine needles, moss and shadow work.

Will Dark Forest Green change on firing?
Bullseye notes that this style opalizes upon firing, so a fired dot comes out a dense opaque green; it is not a striker. Dappling may occur with excessive heatwork, so keep to a standard schedule for a flat even color. No reactive ingredients are listed, so it sits cleanly next to copper, sulfur and lead colors. Dots over pale green read as leaves in shade, while over white they stand out like holly against snow.
