Dark Forest Green Opalescent Dots COE90

Dark Forest Green Opalescent dots in COE90 are a deep pine green with visible variation: many slices carry lighter green swirls or streaks across the face, and a few are translucent enough to show the light behind them. A pile of them looks mossy rather than flat.

Sliced from 6 mm Bullseye cane at about 2 to 3 mm thick and rated COE90, these dots want COE90 glass and no other. The lighter streaks give a field of these dots a natural, uneven look, which is exactly what pine boughs and holly want. Use them as leaves around red berries on a white wreath, or as moss on a stone gray base.

How does this green look fired?
Mostly opaque with some translucent pieces, so on a black base it reads as a solid dark green and on white it picks up a little glow at the edges. The streaking survives firing and gives a natural, organic look, which suits pine trees, holly leaves, moss and dark foliage better than a flat green would.
