Deep Cobalt Blue Opalescent Dots COE90

Deep Cobalt Blue Opalescent dots in COE90 are an intense, saturated blue with a faint violet lean, deep enough to read close to ink in the pile. Some slices show a slight glow at the edge, a sign the opal is dense but not completely dead to light.

Made from Bullseye glass and rated COE90, these dots are cut from 6 mm cane at about 2 to 3 mm thick and pair only with COE90 glass. This is the blue for depth rather than cheer. Dot a white plate for a night sky, use it as deep water under lighter blue dots, or pair it with white in a two tone polka field on cream.

How does this blue read on black, white and clear?
Opaque enough to hold as solid blue on black, and on white it looks almost inky. On clear it keeps its depth and reads as open ocean. It is a serious blue: night skies, deep sea, sapphires, and the dark half of a two-tone polka field paired with white.
