Deep Plum Transparent Frit Balls COE90

These transparent balls read as a dark wine, almost black, with a deep plum red glowing through at the edges and in the smallest balls where the glass is thinnest. Over a light base the color opens into a rich purple red.

Each ball began as glass frit and was fired into a rounded bead of about 3 to 6 mm, sold in half ounce bags of roughly 100 to 130. The glass is Bullseye 001105 Deep Plum, a COE90 transparent for tested COE90 glass only. It belongs in berry clusters, grape bunches and the shadow side of floral work.

Is Deep Plum a striker?
No. Bullseye lists 001105 as stable with no color shift, no strike and no reactive ingredients, so no special hold is needed; the dark plum you see is what fires out. At a tack fuse on white a single ball fires as a glowing purple dome with a lighter rim, while a full fuse flattens it to a translucent plum disc.
