A rich, glassy royal blue with real depth, the larger balls showing a slightly textured cap and the smaller ones sparkling like sapphires. The color is a true blue with no violet or green cast.
Frit balls are spheres of fused glass frit sized about 3 to 6 mm, round dots ready for placing. This color is Bullseye 001114 Deep Royal Blue; it is COE90, made from Bullseye glass, and stays with tested COE90 glass. Half ounce bags run roughly 100 to 130 balls. Bullseye lists it as stable and non reactive with no strike, so the bag color is the fired color.
Over clear these fire as jewel blue dots that let light through; over white they read a shade brighter; over black they go nearly invisible, so keep them on light ground. A tack fuse keeps the dome and the inner glow, and a full fuse leaves a flat translucent circle. Use them for water drops, night skies and the deep end of a seascape.
