Golden Green Opalescent dots are an olive mustard, a yellow with a good measure of green folded into it, and the color runs dead even across every slice with a soft satin face. It is a quiet yellow with an earthy cast.
COE90 dots made from Bullseye glass, sliced from 6 mm cane at about 2 to 3 mm thick, and meant for COE90 glass only. This is the yellow for earth palettes. Use it for sunflower centers on brown, olives on a cream plate, bee stripes with black over white, or as the mustard step in an autumn leaf border.
How does golden green read on a base? Opaque, so it holds as a solid olive-yellow whether the base is dark or light. On black it looks like brass; on white it reads as a soft mustard. It suits autumn leaves, olives, bee and wasp stripes and any earth palette that wants a yellow without the brightness of a primary.
