These are guidelines, not guarantees. Every kiln fires a little differently, so test a small run first when the result matters and follow a casting schedule suited to your glass and kiln.
Prime both teardrop cavities with a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer , or a kiln wash, and let it dry completely before adding glass.
This mold is designed to be paired with the Mini Scrap Master pot melt mold. Load the pot with 32 grams per cavity of glass, including at least 25 grams of clear, set it over the prepared Holey Teardrops mold, and fire so the glass melts and flows into the cavities.
The mold is COE agnostic. Fire it with the Mini Scrap Master pot-melt melting schedule below, which works for both COE 90 and COE 96.
Let the kiln cool fully before removing the cast pieces. Re coat the mold with primer as needed between firings. The Slide Hi Temp brand separator is not recommended with these molds.
Creative Paradise Suggested Firing Schedule (Mini Scrap Master Melting Schedule)
This pot-melt melting schedule works for both COE 90 and COE 96. It is a suggested starting schedule, not a guarantee. Every kiln fires differently, so test a small run and adjust for your glass and kiln.

*If your kiln runs hotter than it reads, reduce Segment 1 to 1620 F. The glass separator begins to break down above 1660 F, so do not over-fire. If the glass does not fully cast at 1640 F, add to the Segment 1 hold in 15 minute increments, or raise the temperature in 5 degree increments. Place the loaded Mini Scrap Master directly over the prepared mold on a level kiln shelf so the holes in the melting pots line up over the mold cavities. Because this is a holey mold, the 75 minute Segment 1 hold also gives the glass time to migrate around the ceramic posts that form the holes.
