Holiday Celebration is built on red, green and white. Cherry and brick red opal chips sit against forest green transparents so deep they read nearly black, clean white opal breaks the two apart, and amber gold transparents flicker through the scatter like candlelight. Some of the darker green chips show a mossy fleck when turned in the hand, and the whites are dense and paper clean rather than translucent. Nothing pink or pastel creeps in; the whole scatter reads as Christmas.
Certain colors here may not reach their target shade until the firing, so check a fused sample before planning around the raw bag. The mix holds sulfur bearing colors, which can react on contact with copper bearing glass. Being COE90 Bullseye glass, it goes only with COE90 in the kiln.
Expect coarse pieces of 2.7 to 5.2 mm, sold in a 4 oz or an 8 oz bag. Built for ornaments, wreath themed plates, and wintery coasters.
