This sheet carries eleven lighthouse illustrations rendered in fine engraving-style black linework. These are water-slide fusible glass decals, fired onto the surface of pre-fired glass. Because the decal sits on top of the glass rather than fusing within the stack, no COE matching is needed and they work with glass of any COE. Soak a decal briefly in room-temperature water, slide it onto clean, dry, pre-fired glass, smooth out trapped water and air, and let it dry completely before loading the kiln.
Do these decals work with the COE glass I already have?
Yes. Because the decal fires onto the surface of pre-fired glass rather than fusing as a compatible glass layer, no COE matching is needed. Clean, fully pre-fired glass of any COE accepts these decals.
How many decals are on the sheet?

What surface preparation does the glass need?
The glass should be fully pre-fired, smooth, and free of oils, dust, and kiln wash residue. Wipe it with a clean, lint-free cloth before sliding the wet decal into position. A contaminant-free surface helps the decal adhere evenly and lie flat while drying.

Working Notes
Allow the applied decal to dry fully, ideally several hours or overnight, before firing. Residual moisture can steam and lift or distort the decal during the early ramp. Fire in a clean kiln, free of residue from previous sessions, to avoid surface contamination.
Suggested Firing Schedule (the manufacturer's recommendation, a starting point only): Firing range is roughly 1240 to 1370 degrees F; these designs fire toward the lower end to preserve density. This is a suggested starting point, not a guarantee of results. Every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first and anneal for the thickness of your glass. Ventilate the kiln well up to 1000 degrees and fire slowly below 500 degrees.
50 DPH to 185 degrees F, HOLD/SOAK 20 min.
150 DPH to 300 degrees F, HOLD/SOAK 15 min.
250 DPH to 500 degrees F, HOLD/SOAK 15 min.
600 DPH to 1000 degrees F, HOLD/SOAK 10 min.
Then to 1240 to 1370 degrees F, HOLD/SOAK 10 min.
