A pale, cool pastel mint, opaque and completely even from ball to ball, with a soft satin surface, closer to seafoam than to grass.
Each ball began as glass frit fired into a rounded bead of about 3 to 6 mm; bags weigh one half ounce and hold around 100 to 130. The glass is COE90, Bullseye made, and belongs with tested COE90 glass. Bullseye lists 000112 Mint Green Opalescent as stable and non reactive with no strike, so the mint in the bag is the mint on the piece.
Mint dots stay quiet on white and stand out on darker greens, teal and cobalt. Use them for seafoam, spring buds and pastel candy fields, where they hold a clean edge at a full fuse and a neat dome at a tack fuse. A scatter of mixed sizes over a pale opal reads as sea spray along a shoreline, and single larger balls make cool toned flower centers over deeper green ground.
