Oceanside Amber, Green and White (style OGT6217SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a streaky mix of amber, green, and cream in a smooth surface.
Appearance
This sheet blends warm amber and gold, soft green, and cream white in long streaks that flow across the glass. The amber and green areas carry light through while the cream streaks stay paler and more opal, giving the sheet a soft mottled movement. The color mix shifts from section to section.
Working notes
Because it is streaky, cutting from different parts of the sheet gives different balances of amber, green, and cream, so pick your section for the mix you want. The transparent areas read brightest over a light ground while the cream streaks stay soft. The smooth face fuses to a gloss on a full fuse and keeps more relief on a tack fuse.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
