Oceanside Aqua-Rose Pearl Opalescent (style OGT603483CCF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a pearly swirl of rose pink and aqua in a Corella-textured sheet.
Appearance
This sheet swirls soft rose pink and aqua-teal with cream, opalescent with a pearly sheen, in marbled pastel movement. The Corella surface adds a gentle mottled shimmer that catches the light.
Working notes
Streaky pearl glass gives each cut a unique blend of pink and aqua, so plan your cuts to place the swirl. The pearl sheen sits on the surface, so keep the textured face up on a tack fuse to hold the shimmer, or full fuse to smooth and settle it.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
