Oceanside Autumn Flame Pearl Opalescent (style OGT605183CCF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a swirled warm opal in the Corella surface.
Appearance
This sheet swirls warm orange, amber, and rust through pale pearly streaks, marbled like a slow flame. The Corella surface adds a soft rolling texture that catches light across the warm tones. As a pearl opal the colors stay dense and glowing, with the lighter streaks giving depth against the deeper orange.
Working notes
The swirled flame pattern means each cut pulls a different mix of orange and pearl, so choose your section for the movement you want. The Corella texture lives on one face and softens with heat. A full fuse melts the surface toward gloss and can gentle the texture, while a tack fuse keeps more of it. As an opal it reads as a solid warm marble over light or dark.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
