Oceanside Brown and Gold Streaky (style OGT41115SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a transparent streaky mix of warm gold and dark brown.
Appearance
The photo shows warm amber gold swirled with ribbons of deep brown, blended in a flowing streaky pattern. The lighter gold areas are bright and transparent while the brown streaks read darker and richer, and the whole sheet has a marbled, woodgrain-like movement. Every section looks a little different.
Working notes
Because the color is streaky, each cut captures a different balance of gold and brown, so plan your placement to use the flow of the pattern. As a transparent it glows over light and deepens when layered. It is a sulfur-bearing color rated high, so it reacts strongly against copper-bearing glass, as noted below. A full fuse smooths the surface to a glossy face.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
