Oceanside Caribbean Blue Transparent (style OGT5321SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright turquoise aqua in a smooth transparent sheet.
Appearance
A bright turquoise aqua with a smooth, clear surface. As a transparent it reads lighter over a lightbox and deeper where layered, with a soft sheen across the even face.
Working notes
The smooth face fires flat and glossy on either side. A full fuse melts it smooth, while a tack fuse keeps stacked edges defined.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
It fuses with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a test tile first.
