Oceanside Champagne Opalescent Frit (style 2911-96) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible frit, crushed glass in a warm creamy champagne.
Appearance
Crushed granules in a soft, creamy champagne white with warm ivory tones. The opalescent chips read as a pale, solid color and catch a light pearly sheen, shown here in a medium crush of small, irregular pieces.
Working notes
As an opalescent it keeps its pale, warm champagne tone over both light and dark bases. Sprinkled thin it melts into a smooth wash; laid thicker it builds a mottled, textured field.

Using the frit
Frit is crushed glass for color, shading, and texture. Sprinkle it to blend colors and build gradients, fill open areas, or pack it into casting molds, with finer grades for smooth shading and coarser grades for texture.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
