Oceanside Congo Pearl Opalescent (style OGT602282CCF) is a streaky green and white Corella textured sheet, System 96 96 COE fusible.
Appearance
A streaky mix of greens swirled with white in soft marbled bands, from bright grass to deeper shades, with pearly white threads weaving through. The Corella surface carries a gentle ripple that catches the light.
Working notes
The Corella texture sits on one face, the reverse smoother, giving two surface looks from one sheet. The streaking is mixed into the glass, so every cut shows a different flow. A full fuse melts the ripple smooth while keeping the streaks; a tack fuse holds more texture.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
