Oceanside Dark Blue/White (style OGT3376SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a deep blue streaked with white in a wispy sheet.
Appearance
A strong cobalt to royal blue marbled with soft white wisps that swirl through the sheet, from thin veils to broader clouded areas, giving a moving water-like look. The body is semi-opaque and the surface smooth.
Working notes
Wispy glass shifts across the sheet, so each cut piece carries a different mix of blue and white. Plan cuts to catch the streaking you want. A full fuse levels the surface and softens the wisps into the blue, a tack fuse keeps pieces raised.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
